Keep up to date with our 2025 season
Following a 7th place finish at UK Nationals in early July with some tough universe losses, we kept growing and our season highlight was coming 2nd and winning spirit at EUF Summer Tour in France in August! We narrowly missed out on an EUCF wildcard but we couldn't be prouder of the resilience and hard work shown across the season. Read more here!
In 2023 we tried something a bit new, expanding our club to a 37 player strong roster with the focus of providing high level coaching to more female matching players in London. Competing at several tournaments throughout the year we competed at UK Nationals with a 6th place finish. Read more about this here!
The most exciting year in the UK women's division! We went to WUCC finishing as the joint highest placing UK women's team in 27th! Later in the year we competed at UKU Nationals where the the standard was higher than ever and we took another 4th place finish with our heads held high.
With a new competition structure in the UK we were able to play competitive games and also return to nationals where we finished 4th after a tough semifinal and a close playoff!
COVID-9 hit and we were unable to train for most of the year. However our brilliant committee followed protocol set out by the UKU and we were able to train at the end of the season.
Off the back of a busy year in 2018, SYC regrouped and had a bit of a rebuilding year. We took on some new faces in the club and finished in 6th place at UKU outdoor nationals.
We attended the World Ultimate Club Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio (US). We finished 28th in the world playing against clubs from 8 different countries. What an experience!
What a year for the club! We made the final of UKU outdoor nationals and finished in 2nd place. This meant we had qualified for the World Ultimate Club Championships happening in 2018.
SYC finished UKU outdoor nationals in 3rd place. 2016 was also the year we launched our charity hat tournament which is now a staple in our calendar and a core part of the club!
In 2015 we attended more European tournaments including Cologne Disc Days where we fell in love with the tournament and won the party (in our opinion anyway).
We finished 2nd at UKU outdoor nationals, making the final in only our 3rd season as a competitive club! This enabled SYC to make their mark on the women's division.
SYC finished in 3rd at UKU outdoor nationals meaning we took the 3rd qualifying spot at the European Championships which happened later that year.
SYC was born between 2011 and 2012 by a group of women looking to provide another competitive team competing in the women's division in London.
