ABOUT
The SLAM Program is open to all 1st - 5th graders (only select programs are available for grades 1 and 2) and is encouraged for GATE students. SLAM stands for Science, Language, Arts, and Math. We also have a Research component. These programs have been selected to engage students with a variety of additional educational opportunities that align with their interests. You can participate in as many projects as you like and there is no long term commitment.
Student participation is voluntary and self-directed. Parents will need to engage their student in determining project interest and help facilitate student involvement.

Completion of SLAM programs and projects earn points! At the end of the year, points will be totaled and prizes will be awarded. All participants wtih 5 or more points are invited to the end of year SLAM Jam celebration to to celebrate their achievements!
