Lake Woussicket is located north of Walkertown, North Carolina on Lake Woussicket Road, which runs between Baux Mountain Road and Highway 311.
During the good old days
Lake Woussicket
It was a spring-fed lake that had a diving board in the middle, a sandy beach, a pavilion, and a jukebox for dancing. When it was in operation, it was owned and operated by Mr. Crews from Walkertown.
The final days
The lake is now private property and has returned to nature.
Memories
As a teenager, I went to Lake Woussicket many times with friends to swim and meet girls.
