Pretend City Children's Museum

Back in 2023, when Sweetz Bakery set up a booth at a youth entrepreneur fair, Sandy Stone—the co-founder of Pretend City Children’s Museum—stopped by to encourage Allie. Our friends casually mentioned that Allie also hosts a fun summer baking camp at home, and one thing led to another… Sandy invited Allie to present at Pretend City’s “Cooking in the City” program!

Since then, Allie has returned every summer to show the kids how to make a different dessert. And every year, without fail, something goes hilariously out of control! 😆 As a consequence, these demos have become the ultimate training ground—not just for preparation and public speaking, but also for crisis management and staying poised when the unexpected happens.
