From their website, 'For Goodness Cakes matches volunteers to make and hand-deliver birthday & graduation cakes to children in foster care and youth overcoming adversity on their special day.', which is a perfect fit for Sweetz Bakery. Our goal is to deliver at least one cake per month since we started in November, 2025.
This is a mother-daughter effort since the rules clearly specify that all minors must be supervised by an adult at all times-- and that is exactly what mom does, supervise, while Allie takes care of the baking and decoration according to the requests of the birthday boys/girls or agency :)
