The Sweetest Knight Wish Tournament, usually shortened to just Wish Tournament, is a decennial event held by the royal family of the Neapolitan Kingdom. It consists of a serious of arduous challenges, meant to determine the one most worthy of the title of Sweetest Knight.
Prospective Knights are gathered from all over Gastronomia. Each must pledge their allegiance to one of the three Noble Houses, and compete to earn points. The event becomes a grand spectacle for the entire kingdom, and there are some who even travel to the capital city just to cheer on their favoured Knight.
Of course, Knights aren't only competing for fun—though there are most definitely thrill-seekers in every Tournament—there are plenty of prizes to be won. Most notably, the grand prize for the winner includes...

The Sweetest Knight title, equivalent in rank to Nobility
Every past winner of the Tournament has used their prize in different ways. Some pledged their eternal loyalty to the throne and served the kingdom until their last breaths, while others returned to their home towns to share their newfound wealth. What the Sweetest Knight does with their prize is entirely up to them.
The Sweetest Knight isn’t just a fancy title—along with the monetary prizes, the winner of the Tournament is promised to have any one Wish granted by the Neapolitan royal family. Magical tomes, vast riches, enough food to feed a village for years; whatever you can think of, you can ask for—no strings attached.
But the Wish Tournament won’t be easy.
Competing Knights must pass a series of Trials that will put each and every one of their skills to the test, and prove themselves to be true knights in every sense of the word. Only those who can truly embody all pillars of Knighthood—chivalry, gentility, strategy, and justice—will be able to make it through the Trials.
Rack up points for every completed Trial and Quest, and you just might win.
Trials take place once a week, for 6 weeks, for a total of 6 Trials over the course of 60 days (assuming no interruptions, of course.)
These Trials are split into three distinct categories—one for each House.
Traditionally hosted by House Chocolate, puzzle Trials are tests of wit, deduction, and deception. Knights must utilize the full capabilities of their minds to clear them.
During team Trials, Knights of the same House are encouraged to work together to clear various challenges. Team Trials are a test of camaraderie, hosted by House Vanilla.
Combat Trials are often the simplest to clear, hosted by House Strawberry. They involve contests of strength—against Rot Beasts, competing Knights, or the wilderness.
During the Tournament, certain citizens of the kingdom will be granted the right to give out Quests to the competing Knights.
These Quests usually take place between—but sometimes even during—Trials, and are not always aligned with one specific House.
Unlike for Trials, Knights do not receive monetary compensation for completing Quests. Instead, they're a way to earn valuable points. Quests are usually locked to a small number of participants, so Knights must act fast if they want to complete them.
Quest-givers receive a special golden crown-shaped pin that must be displayed on their body during the Quest, to make them recognizable to Knights.
