The Day I Stepped Out of My Comfort Zone

If you don't have the courage, opportunity will leave you.
When I saw “Work at Home Geek” page, I thought that it was just a “click-bait” because I’m so done with a Mentor or Coach wannabe na ang tingin sa mga newbies ay source of income and after selling their online course, they will forget you and no support at all.
Meeting Lala was a life-changing experience. She helped me find my weaknesses and helped me improve them. Dati iniisip ko, bakit ba napakaintrovert ko. Kahit anu gawin ko, talagang mahiyain ako and most of the time, people say that I’m snobbish. I can’t help it but after the Social Media Masterclass, mas nakilala ko at mas minahal ko lalo sarili ko.
Ginawa kong stepping stone ang Work at Home Geek to land my first job. I also join the Masterclass and applied again as Admin VA and Graphic designer. One of the job descriptions is I need to be fluent in English but I’m not fluent in English but still, I gave it a shot because there is no harm in trying and voila! I got the position and of course, with Lala’s help again. I put her as one of the references in my resume and it’s a big factor in my application because she mentioned beautiful things about me.
During my interview, my client asked me, “Do you have any questions for me?” and I asked, “What do you love most about your job?” Then she started to tell all her success stories. That question is from Lala. She also asked that to one of her clients. And I realized, if you don’t have the courage, opportunity will leave you. You will never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone. If I’m still in my comfort zone, I will never meet my ideal client now and enjoy my paycheck.
We have Monday Meetings and nakilala ko lalo si Lala. She was so beautiful inside out. I’m a more positive person now because of her words of wisdom. And my co-admins too are very kind and supportive. Negativity is not allowed in the SWAHG community.
It’s an honor and privilege to be a part of the SWAHG Admin community!
Long live the Kings and Queens of SWAHG!
