The Farming, Fishing, and Forestry job family is comprised of occupations with work activities that include performing general physical activities, inspecting equipment or material, handling and moving objects, and obtaining and processing information. In this family, knowledge of machines and tools, mathematics, biology, or production are needed. And skills such as controlling operations of equipment or systems, critical thinking, active listening or quality control analysis may be necessary. Education: most occupations require a high school diploma, but some do not.
