We believe that all parents, families, and our extended community are critical partners in supporting our ELs. Regardless of the home language or level of education, all parents can play a part in supporting the literacy development of their children. The resources below can be helpful for BPAs and CLs in supporting parents toward our shared responsibility for student learning.
Every year, we administer an EL Needs Assessment Survey to better understand our EL families' experience at our sites. During the spring of 2020, the questions were focused on their experience with distance learning.
Please use the information for your site as a starting point in determining what your EL families need in support of our students.
