Students were inspired by the work of John James Audubon. He is an nineteenth-century American ornithologist, naturalist, and painter. Students drew and colored their own birds.
ARTIST STUDY
Inspired by 1950's pop artist, Roy Lichtenstein, students created a self-portrait in the style of Mr. Lichtenstein. They wrote captions reflecting what makes them apprehensive about Middle School.
SCULPTURE
Students explored embroidery from the American Revolution. Inspired by this experience students embroidered their initials.

Students used perspective and different lines to draw the White House.
