Sustainability Awareness Audit Program (SAAP)
The SAAP program is inspired by the Fogg Behavioral Model. Human behavior requires three primary elements: Motivations, Abilities, and Triggers (MAT). Similarly, forming a successful sustainability awareness initiative requires embarking on employees' motivations, abilities, and triggers.
- Motivations: "People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing"-Dale Carnegie
- Motivations are an essential element for providing high-quality performance at the workplace. Stimulating employees' motivation requires recognizing their needs through an open dialogue.
- Abilities: "It’s not enough to be very good if you have the ability to be great"-Pam Farrel
- Abilities define the knowledge and skills of an individual's capabilities. The SAAP is designed to improve the quality of employees' knowledge and skills for integrating sustainability practices.
- Triggers are a prompt system that informs individuals about the main purpose of participating in an activity. SAAP aims to develop an alert sustainability system to stimulate employees' sustainability awareness through incentives, recognitions, and development.
