Sussex County State Representative (House) Races

Sussex County State Representative (House) Overview:

There are four uncontested House Districts - 35, 37, 38, and 40 all held by Repubicans.

Presently there are five Sussex County State Representative General Election races: Districts 4, 14, 20, 39 and 41.

There are two Republican Primary Election contests to be held 9/13/2022. District 4 will have Jeff Hilovsky face Bradley Layfield. The winner will face Democrat Keegan Worley and Amy Fresh in the 11/8/2022 General Election.

In District 36, in the absence of a write-in candidate, the Republican Primary winner will become the winner of the 2022 election as there is no other party candidate filed for the 11/8/2022 General election.
