Election Commentary:
The general election Distric 5 Republican candidate will be determined by the outcome of the 9/13/2022 primary election. John Rieley (R) is the Sussex County Council District 5 Incumbent challenged by current Sussex Planning & Zoning Commissioner Keller Hopkins (R). The Republican Primary winner will face Billy Edwards in the 11/8/2022 General Election.
