Sussex County Council has two seats up for the 11/8/2022 General Election, District 4 and District 5. Current Council incumbents are Doug Hudson (R) District 4 and John Rieley (R) District 5. District 5 will participate in the 9/13/2022 Primary Election with John Rieley running against Keller Hopkins with the winner advancing to the General Election to face Democrat Billy Edwards.

In Council District 4, incumbent Doug Hudson will face Nathan Mitchell in the 11/8/2022 General Election..
