* The Energy Leadership Index (ELI) is an 70-question online assessment that takes about 20 minutes to complete, and includes a 12-page custom report and a coach-led debrief. As an ELI certified coach, I use the results to assess an individual’s energy makeup under everyday circumstances as well as their energetic response to stress (like a person's energetic DNA so to speak).

This assessment is important because it helps identify how different levels of energy show up in a person’s behavior. It helps create awareness and identify areas of need such as unconscious habits that will become the focus of the coaching process.

When someone says, “I am stressed out,” what exactly are they experiencing? Where does this reaction originate from? What is happening to the brain and the body? In addition to the answers to the above questions, in this presentation we will learn a few practical things we can do to keep chronic stress under control and even use it to our advantage.

🔸 Post-Traumatic Growth

While we are all familiar with the term “post-traumatic stress disorder” few of us have heard that growth can result from adversity. Psychological studies show that about half of people who have suffered traumatic hardships report positive changes in their lives -some of these changes are small while others life changing. In this presentation we will discuss steps and strategies to bounce back and evolve from negative experiences as well as five different forms of post-traumatic growth.

🔸 When Life Happens: Clearing Emotional Clutter and Getting Unstuck

Feeling stuck means it’s time to make a change -a change of heart, a change in perspective, a change in habits, a change of direction, a change of attitude, or something else- because whatever we have been doing thus far is not working anymore. In this session we will explore behavioral patterns and beliefs that make us resist change as well as how to get unstuck.

🔸 Taming Your Inner Critic

You may have heard that we are our worst critics - not only of ourselves but also of others. That’s because every one of us has a sort of bully in the brain that undermines our gifts and capabilities. When we subscribe to the inner critic’s beliefs, these beliefs become so powerful and intimidating that we feel insecure, inadequate, incapable, unworthy, and unable to be at our best. On the other hand, there are people in our lives who may act as "emotional vampires" and whose energy is contagious. In this session we will learn to identify the inner critic’s voice as well as other voices that undermine us, learn how to confront them, set boundaries, and free up our best self.

🔸 Leading With Intent and Intuition...Even When You Are Not in Charge

In the workplace as well as in personal life, driving change -or influencing change- can be a huge undertaking. Using emotional information effectively helps leaders guide thinking and behavior, and handle difficult conversations in order to achieve goals. In this session participants will become familiar with the drama triangle -and perhaps even recognize themselves in one or more roles- learn coaching skills to diffuse strong emotions, and create the conditions where change is more likely to happen.

While most people refer to life balance as a state of equilibrium between work and personal life, in reality the term encompasses much more than that. Most people live unbalanced lives and this impacts their health and wellbeing as well as the health and wellbeing of the people in their lives, their self-worth and acceptance, their outlook on life, and their relationship with themselves. Balance is achieved through a process that begins by identifying what aspects of life need attention and understanding all the choices to be made. In this session attendees will learn several different aspects of life balance as well as practical things they can do to restore balance in their lives.

🔸 Hello Stress, Goodbye Distress (3 or 6 hours)

At some point in our lives we all experience stress. Although stress is usually defined in the dictionary as an uncomfortable emotional experience following a difficult situation, in reality it can be looked at from a different angle. As we will discuss in this workshop, stress can be both damaging to your health and a source of strength. It all depends on a person’s mindset.

In this workshop you will

    • Recognize different types of stress

    • Identify psychological responses to stress

    • Gain a clear understanding of how the mind and body reacts to stress

    • Implement renewal mechanisms to balance stress

    • Gain consciousness of how the way you think about stress impacts the results you get

🔸 Leading With Intent and Intuition...Even When You Are Not in Charge (3 hours)

The only constant is change. Yet change can often be received with skepticism, resistance, resentment, cynicism, anger, and other strong emotions. As a result, people impacted by change - both at work and in their personal life- may engage in a behavioral pattern known as the drama triangle.

Emotional intelligence, or the ability to recognize your own and other people's emotions, discern between different feelings, and use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior is a very important strength of highly effective leaders. Relying on intent and intuition guides them into making important decisions with clarity and confidence.

In this workshop you will

    • Understand that emotions provide important information

    • Recognize the drama triangle at work, in your personal life, and in the world around you

    • Apply simple coaching skills to break drama and influence change

    • Become familiar with the 4 domains of emotional intelligence

    • Engage in coaching conversations and practice simple yet very effective coaching skills that can be applied immediately.

🔸 Vision Boards: Envision and Create Your Future (6 hours)

Have you ever asked yourself, “What do I really want in my life?” If the answer is yes, you may have crafted a long list of dreams you want to become true before you die. If the answer is no, you are not alone; many people go through life doing what others expect of them to do or just letting life happen, without even realizing it.

Everyone of us has their own definition of success and happiness. We all have dreams and desires that fuel our imagination or lead us to believe that they are impossible to materialize. The truth is every dream that manifests itself starts with intention, clarity, and vision (in this order), and visualizing what we want in life is what vision boards help us achieve. This creates a unique type of energy within us that attracts the things we want in life and lets go of things that do not serve us anymore. After all, we are what we think.

Some people may be skeptical of the vision board concept and that is understandable. We live in a world filled with bad news and pessimism, and as a result we lose hope. Just think, what do you have to lose if you give it a try? The best thing that can happen -and the most likely thing to happen if you really work on your intention and vision- is that great things will start happening in your life -maybe not be exactly the way you envisioned them but the way that is best for you at this moment in your life.
