The SunVoice 5 < Apricus > - Music Composing Competition

Qualifying Criteria:

• Contestants can be of any ages, but must be the current student of any universities in Malaysia.

• Contestants that participate in The SunVoice 5 are allowed to participate in this music composing competition, but they need to pay for the registration fee of this competition.

• Contestants can choose to participate as individual or in a group, and each group is allowed to submit one piece of composition only.

• For group participation, the maximum number of group members is 10 people, including at least one song writer, one composer, one editor and one singer (not including the instrument players).

• The composition pieces must be originally written by the contestants, it must not be published and used for commercial uses. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

• The composition pieces that are used to participate in other competitions but did not get any placements are accepted for this competition.

• Contestants must not be under contract with any music companies.

Registration Requirements:

• Contestants are required to fill in an online registration form (Google Form) and upload the screenshot of registration payment details with the videotape and audio recording tape.

• Contestants are required to attach a formal picture of themselves (scale as 4:3) while filling up the personal information section in the form.

• The registration fee for individual contestant is RM10; for contestants in a group is RM20. Each contestant or group is allowed to participate with one composition piece only.

• Members from Sunway University Chinese Cultural Society (SUCCS) who participate in this competition will be able to collect a stamp.
