Padlet is...a virtual bulletin board where students and teachers can collaborate and reflect as they post links, images, photos, and short videos in a secure environment.
Students can access prior knowledge/prior ability in a KWL.
Students can collaborate with a partner or small group to create a Padlet that shows their understanding of a concept.
Students can brainstorm or even create a concept map on a particular topic.
Students can showcase their work on a Padlet wall. Be sure to teach students how to provide detailed feedback that goes beyond, "I like it!"
Activity A- Let's brainstorm together! Did your wheels start turning? Did a lightbulb go off? How can YOU use Padlet with your students? Click here to share and access ideas on our Sunshiny Summer Camp Padlet! (This will also give you practice from the student point of view!)
Activity B- Create a Padlet that you can use at the beginning of the school year so students can introduce themselves to each other! Or create a different Padlet that you can use sometime during the year!
Activity C- Is your goal to help students collaborate? Create? Brainstorm? Think of a lesson you have done in the past and how it can be transformed with Padlet. Click here to access a lesson planner to guide you through the transformation process!
