VERY IMPORTANT:  Turn off Lunsford Rd onto Pipes Branch Rd, shown here, and NOT directly onto Raccoon Ridge, where GPS may suggest.  WRONG side of mountain.  Instead, take Pipes Branch Rd for 800' or so and see the mailbox cluster, shown above, and street sign Raccoon Ridge.  THIS starts your climb up the mountain.
