Sunset Valley Overlook

Located at an elevation of around 2500' on the west face of a mountain outside Murphy, N.C.,  Sunset Valley Overlook has gorgeous views of sunsets, the valley below, and distant mountain ridges.   While you may have seen locations claiming  amazing views, some only appear through a narrow gap, or  when all leaves have fallen from trees.   Here, you have a wide view year round!

This three story home has two floors of wraparound covered porches, both with great views and it sleeps eight with three bedrooms and full baths.   

It is located in a residential neighborhood on a quiet paved road, with few rentals or BnB operations nearby and we only wish guests who will honor that peace and quiet.  Stays are limited to a minimum of six days and discounted accordingly, with a maximum agreement time of 28 days.    

A full laundry is included and there is onsite parking for three vehicles or boat trailer.    In the colder months, there is occasional icing on area roads or snowfalls and visitors should be aware there is no de-icing equipment for these private roads, and enough food should be on hand for a day's stay-in.
