Sunset Plains takes place on the continent of Africa, in the country of Tanzania, specifically in the Serengeti National Park.
SunClan struggles to live their daily lives amidst the predators and weather that plague the area.

Featuring new roles, a pantheon of gods, and a stat & dice system, Sunset Plains strives to be a new experience for roleplay and Warrior Cat lovers!

The plot is shaped by the characters! Opportunities are given to active members to advance plots and trigger events on a semi-frequent basis.

The group is 16+*.
*The age rating of the group is increasing to 18+ January 1st, 2026. We advise new members to keep this in mind.

Character RULES

From Concept

Sunset Plains was conceptualized in 2020 by Spiderguts. They made a server for it that year and designed two NPCs and their player character before letting the project sit dormant until March of 2023 when passion for the project returned along with new ideas.

After recruiting Horsefinity, it was time to actually begin. The pair made a bunch of NPCs and designed the stat system as well as everything else the group needed and opened it to the public in June 2023.

Sunset Plains is currently modded by Spiderguts and Horsefinity with some help from bookkeeping staff. Together, staff roleplays NPCs, assists with rolls and point earning, counts currency, and keeps the group running smoothly!

Recruiting for staff happens on an as-needed basis. Staff are recruited for a specific job but not moderation. Our current staff positions are Patrol Runner, Bone Counter, HP Manager, and Questioner, all of which are rewarded with group currency for doing their jobs!
Higher level staff, members with the "chad" role on Discord, do give minor moderation assistance.
