There are 3 Drill teams in NJROTC. Armed, Unarmed, and Color Guard. This page is about the Armed Drill Team.
What is Unarmed? Unarmed is a Drill team that is practiced without rifles within NJROTC. This practice, of course has many purposes, such as parade performance, competition, drill performance, exhibitions, and discipline.
Why do we compete? We compete with other schools to be able to become more recognized or noticed to increase our unit status, it also goes onto our end-of-the-year report.
Why do we participate in parades? We participate to perform and show off what we have accomplished within this program, and again, it goes on the end-of-the-year report.
