There are 3 Drill teams in NJROTC. Armed, Unarmed, and Color Guard. This page is about the Color Guard Team.
What is Color Guard? Color Guard is a Drill team that is often practiced within NJROTC and it is practiced within our unit to show the colors during ceremonies, school-hosted sports games, and Drill competitions. This practice also has performances, (like armed and unarmed) such as parade performance, drill performance, and discipline.
Why do we compete? We compete with other schools to be able to become more recognized or noticed to increase our unit status, it also goes onto our end-of-the-year report.
Why do we participate in parades? We participate to perform and show off what we have accomplished within this program, and again, it goes on the end-of-the-year report.
