Participant Email #2

SummerSing Music is now available.  

This year, we are able to provide two different options for you to receive the music for SummerSing.  

• The first option is to download the mp3s directly to your computer or mobile device.  If you would like to choose this option, just send an email to SummerSing@idlewild.org and let us know.  Once your registration is verified, we will send you the link to download and listen to the mp3s. 

• If you are not able to use the above option, we have a limited number of physical CDs available to pick up.  If you would like a physical CD, just send an email to SummerSing@idlewild.org and let me know that you would like to pick one up. The CDs need to be ordered and will only be made available to those who have requested one.  Once you have submitted your request, you may pick up your CD at the Event Registration desk beginning Sunday, June 1st or during the week from 9:00-4:00 at the Church Offices.  You will need to sign for your CD when you pick it up, only 1 per registration.

• Each participant should listen to the MUSIC EVERY DAY so you will have a head start on learning it.  Participants will enjoy the week better if the music is learned BEFORE the first day.  That way we can spend time polishing and doing choreography/hand motions.

• Just wait until you see the choreography we are going to do!

SummerSing Donation Project

We will be collecting the following items for Idlewild’s “Hope for the Schools” project. Idlewild seeks to serve our local community and schools by providing for daily needs while maintaining a gospel-driven evangelism focus with our efforts. Donating school supplies for Transformation Schools (underprivileged schools) can help a child be better prepared for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Your donations will benefit the students and the teachers as we continue to build relationships and connections with our public school system. Below are the most needed items for kids ages 5-15.  New items only please.

o   Pens (black or blue)

o   #2 Pencils

o   Loose leaf notebook paper

o   Sharpies/Highlighters (for teachers)

o   Hand held pencil sharpeners

o   Erasers

Students may turn in items from the list each day at drop-off and earn points for their team.

Audition Reminder: 

• Auditions for a special part (solo or speaking part) are scheduled for Tuesday, June 17 at 6:30 p.m. in room A214 in the Children’s Building.
