That day became known as the boys' debut under the new normal. They returned to great heights, as healthy as they should be.
As it was announced that the quarantine, initially scheduled to end on April 15, had been extended to April 30 - the first of its many extensions given the uncertainty - that was when I knew I had to do something. A new event that was not supposed to happen but happened anyway, The Great Divide, was conceived. It was this year's leadership anniversary event similar to Identity, but had to be changed to also educate people about the pandemic. I called it an ‘edutainment event’ with a brand new MDTV lineup and a fundraiser.
Things had to change, however, as schedules went tighter. Many activities that were supposed to happen on The Great Divide had to be cancelled or moved. Some things were not supposed to happen according to plan, and I know.
