Moving closer, on both ends.

I could be walking.. but things did not go so well for Cara, who was about to reach his second year in leadership.

The web series that I wrote about earlier which they were filming that September, Bon Voyage - I did not expect it to cause a downturn in his leadership, knowing that it somehow gave viewers a glimpse on the members' real personalities, including Cara's. I would not want to tell you what really happened, but I would tell you that it is because of it that Cara - a leader who, for nearly eleven months, used to be someone far from saying goodbye - had found himself on the verge of leaving leadership. I some kind of did not understand what was going on, but it seemed like he was not the Cara that got into leadership in the first place. I thought that I did not see any reason why he should stay longer. I thought I was about to answer yes to each question I asked last year. Until MMA 2019.

His speech upon receiving one of their 4 Daesangs (grand awards), and later his performance (which I did a dance cover), redeemed himself from almost leaving and has since found me a new reason for him to stay. He then left with his group for two weeks until returning on Christmas to new heights.

That would mark the beginning of Cara Week, an annual event jointly celebrating his birthday and anniversary as a leader. It was confirmed at that time that Cara will reach 2020 as the year's and decade's first leader, eventually becoming the first multi-decade leader because he's the last of the 2010s and first of the 2020s. Not before his birthday though, when an app I worked so hard on during the last few weeks had finally been launched.

With that in mind, Cara had now found his new purpose for continuing - a purpose based on growth and relevancy over relatability - and since then went on with it. It was at that moment we realized.. he was here to stay.
