BuildBill Pro is a construction BOQ, quantity takeoff, contractor-client coordination, project approval, and billing visibility app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use BuildBill Pro.
BuildBill Pro may collect or store the following information depending on how you use the app:
The app may store project-related information entered by the user, including:
project name
client name
contractor name
project location or description
BOQ items
quantity measurements
rates, markup, tax, totals, submitted amount, approved amount, paid amount, and balance
project notes and settlement records
When using the client invitation or project pairing features, the app may use information such as:
client name
project code or invite code
shared project summary
contractor-client project status
This information is used to support the contractor-client project workflow.
BuildBill Pro may request access to the camera, photos, or files when the user chooses to:
scan a BOQ
import a PDF BOQ
upload project evidence
attach before/after photos
add supporting project documents
The app uses this access only when the user selects these features.
If the user scans a paper BOQ or imports a PDF, the app may process the text to extract BOQ items, quantities, units, and rates. The extracted text is used to help the user create or edit BOQ records.
BuildBill Pro may offer premium features or subscriptions. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the platform. We do not collect or store your full credit card, debit card, or banking information.
The app may store purchase entitlement status, such as whether a premium plan is active, restored, expired, or unavailable. Apple and Google have their own payment and privacy policies for purchases made through their stores. Google Play requires Google Play Billing for in-app purchases of digital goods and services distributed through Google Play.
We use information to:
create and manage construction projects
prepare BOQs and quantity takeoffs
calculate estimates, totals, submitted amounts, approved amounts, and balances
support contractor-client coordination
generate project summaries and reports
support premium features
improve app performance and user experience

We do not sell user project data.
Some app data may be stored locally on the user’s device. If cloud sync, account login, or linked contractor-client project sharing is enabled in future versions, project data may also be stored securely in cloud services to support syncing between contractor and client devices.
Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal information into project notes or BOQ descriptions.
BuildBill Pro may allow users to manually share project summaries, invite codes, BOQ records, settlement summaries, or reports through WhatsApp, SMS, email, or other sharing options available on the device.
We do not automatically share project information with other users unless the user chooses to invite or share information.
BuildBill Pro may use third-party services for app functionality, such as:
Apple App Store for iOS purchases and subscriptions
Google Play for Android purchases and subscriptions
OCR or file-processing libraries for BOQ scanning/import
analytics or crash reporting tools, if enabled in future versions
These third-party services may process data according to their own privacy policies. Apple also requires developers to provide accurate app privacy details in App Store Connect, including data collected by third-party partners used in the app.
BuildBill Pro requests camera, photo, or file access only when required for user-selected features such as scanning BOQs, importing PDFs, or adding project evidence.
The user can control these permissions through the device settings.
BuildBill Pro is intended for contractors, clients, engineers, estimators, construction professionals, and adult users involved in construction-related work. It is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We take reasonable steps to protect user information. However, no mobile app, cloud service, or internet-based system can guarantee complete security.
Users are responsible for keeping their devices, passwords, and shared project information secure.
Users may:
edit or delete project information inside the app where available
control camera, photo, and file permissions from device settings
choose whether to share project summaries or invite codes
manage subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play account settings
BuildBill Pro is a construction workflow, BOQ, quantity takeoff, and project record tool. Calculations and estimates depend on user-entered information, selected units, material sizes, rates, and project conditions.
The app does not replace professional engineering judgment, contract documents, legal advice, or site-specific verification.
