This Privacy Policy describes how Civil Construction Lab Pro ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your construction site data.
To provide you with high-quality civil engineering calculations, geotagged reports, and secure account management, the App collects the following types of information:
Account and Authentication Information: When you register or sign in, we collect your name, email address, role, and company name (powered securely via Google Firebase Authentication).
Location Data (Foreground GPS): The App collects approximate and precise location data when you use the geotagging features (e.g., when adding GPS coordinates to a materials test, site diary log, or field inspection). Note: Location data is only collected in the foreground while the App is open and active; we do not track your location in the background.
Photos and Media: When you capture or attach photos to site diaries or materials test certificates, the App accesses your device's camera and photo library to upload and store these records.
Diagnostics and Performance Logs: We collect app crash logs, performance diagnostics, and usage statistics (via Firebase Crashlytics) to troubleshoot errors and improve app stability.
In-App Purchase Logs: We process transaction data related to your premium subscriptions (via RevenueCat) to verify and unlock features. We do not store or process your credit card details.
Device Identifiers: We collect standard advertising and device identifiers (via Google AdMob) to serve ads and analyze app traffic.
We use the collected information for the following business purposes:
Operational Delivery: To run engineering calculations, store materials test records, and generate PDF report sheets.
Dynamic Document Branding: To embed your name, role, and company name into the headers of your exported PDF site diaries and lab tests.
GPS Geotagging Evidence: To attach GPS coordinate proof to your QA/QC inspections and concrete test logs.
User Security: To manage and secure your account and prevent unauthorized access.
Subscription Processing: To process monthly and annual premium licenses.
Performance Monitoring: To analyze logs, debug crashes, and push app updates.
We do not sell your personal data or construction records to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers to run the App:
Google Firebase: For user sign-in, database synchronization, database hosting, and diagnostic logs.
RevenueCat: For secure subscription verification.
Google AdMob: For delivering relevant ads (on non-subscribed accounts).
Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using secure HTTPS protocols and stored in secure cloud environments.
Account Deletion (Self-Service): In compliance with App Store policies, you can permanently delete your account at any time. Go to Settings > Delete Account inside the App. This will instantly and permanently erase your account registration, preferences, and all synchronized test logs from our servers.
