Following on from our successful AGMs (see here and here) and by popular request SHRG will be organisisng a series of events across the year. These will include Research in Progress meetings and Activity Days.

Our first Research in Progress meeting (RIP 1) will be held on the 21st March 2020. The venue TBA will be in Sheffield City centre

The RIP meeting is an opportunity for individuals and groups to give 10 minute or so updates on there ongoing work. This may include recent discoveries, emerging understandings, discussion of future strategies, review of problems/issues, calls for assistance, founding of new project research groups and so on.

In addition to research updates we also intend to discuss issues where we feel that the SHRG should have a written policy document, an example may include the identification, protection and monitoring of heritage street furniture etc.
