A ONE DAY CONFERENCE ORGANISED BY THE STREET HERITAGE RESEARCH GROUP
"RIGHT UP YOUR STREET", is a one day meeting of the Street Heritage Research Group. The meeting is open to all interested parties.
The meeting will feature a number of presentations from amateur and professional historians, archaeologists, political activists, public servants, writers and artists. Subjects will range from studies of everyday items of historic street furniture to ideas about the street as place of dwelling either for art, rest or action. For the 2019 meeting SHRG will be launching their new city centre project (look out for details) with a guided talk on the streets.
For 2019 the meeting will be held in the heart of Historic Kelham Island and the magnificent heritage tavern, The Fat Cat. The full program will stimulate alternative ways to think about our streets.

TIME: 10.00 AM--5.00PM
Indoor presentations from 10am to 1pm followed by Street talks 2pm to 4.30pm.
