Myself and another intern at Wake County Public Libraries collaborated on this resource guide, which became even more relevant during the period when schools were closed due to covid-19. Due to its being more heavily promoted during covid-19 closures, professionals in various departments collaborated to improve the appearance of the libguide.

Community Resources Libguide

A wonderful former library assistant at Oberlin library curated a box of handouts to make people aware of resources available to them when they need assistance that goes beyond the purview of the library. After they retired, I updated and digitized the box for easier access. In libguide form, it is easier to find and update broken links and handouts can still be printed on demand. Plus, other libraries can make use of it, too.

Remote Work Resource Guide

This resource guide was a collaboration between myself and two librarians at Wake County Public Libraries. The librarians selected the layout and worked with the design of the page such as adding photos and logos, and I selected most of the resources. This guide was developed and published during covid-19 when many people suddenly found themselves working from home.

New Items Libguides

I added resources to libguides used to promote new items in the Wake Tech Community College collection. Below is an example, but there are separate libguides for books, dvds, and closed-captioned dvds and I worked on all of them.

Quantum Physics for Laypeople

This resource guide was developed for a reference class during library school. I personally am interested in quantum physics and wanted to collect resources which explain the subject but are geared toward people who haven't spent a lot of time studying the topic.
