Jewelry

I learned pearl knotting a year or so ago, and here is my workboard. In this picture I'm putting together some inexpensive craft store Czech glass beads with some artisan beads that I got at Eugene Saturday Market and wire-wrapped in silver wire.

Here is the first pearl knotted piece I have done, a simple strand of craft store glass beads in mixed pastels. I reserved two of the beads to create earrings to complete the set.

These necklaces are all made from glass beads that I have made with a torch. The small beads are craft store Czech glass beads, the large ones are handmade.

These two (soon to be three!) necklaces are made on tiger tail from freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystal. The pendants were sourced from Fire Mountain Gems & Findings, and open up to reveal a colored felt disk onto which aromatherapy oils can be placed.

Reworked my old rose quartz and amethyst necklace as a Roman-style wire wrap necklace. Yes, I used jump rings for safety on the clasp!

Most of these pictures need to be re-taken, this is just a draft version of this page. I can't often find jewelery that I like, so I make a lot of the pieces I wear frequently.

Silver metal clay: dragonfly pendant & earrings, flower earrings (cubic zirconia on all)

A set of pendants I made as playa gifts for Burning Man 2017 Radical Ritual.

Silver metal clay: Butterfly pendant, flower earrings, spiral heart, dragonfly singles (made into stud earrings)

Silver metal clay: flower pendants for my birthday tea party, and burning man pendants

Onyx and colored freshwater pearl on tiger tail.

Onyx, copper, and glass beads with metal charms on tiger tail.

Sodalite and malachite beads on tiger tail, with enameled dragonflies. There used to be two more dragonflies on the necklace, but I took them off and gave them to a dear friend to make earrings with.

Silver wire wrap on glass and plastic beads.

Tiger-eye, plastic, and gold vermeil beads on cord.

Copper toned freshwater pearls, copper beads, and (sigh) plastic feather beads. I wanted amber, but it wasn't possible.

One of my oldest pieces, made in 1994; amethyst and rose quartz with silver spring beads, on cord.

Fun little necklace of pastel blues and greens, plastic beads on tiger tail-- wear it at the beach, nothing can hurt it!

Green freshwater pearl and gold vermeil beads on tiger tail.
