## 2. Information Handled Locally on Your Device
- **Gameplay Progress & Achievements:** Star scores, unlocked badges, favorite nursery rhymes, sing-along audio speed preferences, and parental screen time timer settings are stored solely on your local device storage using a secure local database (Android Room/SQLite).
- This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to external cloud servers. Uninstalling the app clears this local data.

## 3. Advertising & Child-Directed AdMob Compliance
RhymeLand displays limited, family-friendly advertisements to support free development and updates. We use **Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)** in strict compliance with the **Google Play Families Policy**:
- **Child-Directed Flag (COPPA):** We programmatically enable `tagForChildDirectedTreatment = true` (`TAG_FOR_CHILD_DIRECTED_TREATMENT_TRUE`).

- **Parental Gate Protection:** External links or parent dashboard options are safeguarded behind a parental math gate so toddlers cannot leave the application accidentally.

The App requests only the minimum permissions required for core functions:
