GRADE LEVEL FOCUS

Because of the importance of this topic, this lesson spirals itself each year from 7th through 12th grade, with a combination of consistent content and new content.

High School and Beyond Planning details specific Career Guidance Washington program actions with appropriate content for the High School and Beyond Planning process derived from current legislative rules and the HSBP components inclusive of approaches to utilizing electronic portfolios connected to student information systems.

Student-Led Conferencing describes CGW program actions with appropriate content for school-wide SLC’s organized by: Who am I, What have I accomplished, What plan do I have for my life and outlines a triad reporting process, led by students to be presented to parents and facilitated by an adult advisor.

Student-Informed Scheduling defines an organized system for CGW program actions with appropriate content for student-informed scheduling processes, inclusive and connected to the High School and Beyond for student course selection, school forecasting and registration.
