There is a trail from Wolf that connects to the Firetower along the Eardley escarpment with amazing views and great single track trails. This page gives a description of how to navigate the trail
Here is the Relive view and the Strava and the Gaia
20.3km Loop from P13 on Meech Lake to the Firetower
Start from P13 and taking the right fork, cross Trail #1 and go 3.9km to where Wolf Trail drops off sharply and turns sharply to the left. It is 600m from trail #1 crossing.
At this point go slightly right and find the trail - you may have to go through some raspberry bushes. It is within 20m of Wolf Trail.
Note: For the rest of the description this is referred to as km 0.
Follow this trail, passing the south side of a pond, over a beaver dam (pic), and then dropping sharply down 80m.
At 0.9km Strava shows a trail dropping off to the left down the hill however the trail you want is straight ahead up the hill ahead. At the top you will have amazing views looking out over the Ottawa River (pic on top is from here)
After the views above and following the cairns (and a wooden seat) at ~km 1.2 you will drop 35m down
At 1.6km make a sharp right away from the escarpment. You will be following a stream up the hill for 450m. This trail upstream is not very clear at times but just keep the stream to your immediate left.
At 2.0km from Wolf trail you need to look out to the left to find the trail that crosses the stream. Note that there is a trail that continues straight ahead and appears to be the more major trail. Go across the stream and up the hill back up to great views on the top of the escarpment.
(If you did follow the trail ahead there are tin can lids nailed to to the trees and cairns. That trail does loop around to the point 3.7km from Wolf of this trail, assuming you make the correct turns :) )
Follow the escarpment until Km 3.0 where you turn to the right, which will go up a hill and then drop down
At 3.7km take the turn to the left continuing down and back towards the Ottawa river with a stream and cliff on your left. (Note: this is where the the trail that veered off earlier joins back up)
At 4.0km turn to the right and head up a 50m hill (Note: going straight ahead will go down the escarpment to other trails and to Rue Hotel de Ville where the parking for Luskville Falls is)
Follow the trail until you drop down to the Luskville River
At 5.4km turn left, keeping the river on your right.
At 5.5km you have hit the Luskville trail. Turn right and cross the stream
AT 6.4km you will be at the FireTower and trail #1 :)
Beaver dam at 5.4km - Luskville falls water
ENJOY THE ADVENTURE AND GOOD LUCK FINDING THE TRAILS!
Bonus Trail! That trail from that leaves at km 2.0 and joins back in at km 3.7 - here is where it should go!
