PiYo LIVE is a music-driven, athletic workout that strengthens, stretches, and tones with dynamic movements inspired by the best of Pilates and yoga. It includes modifications for the group exercise environment, yet offers exercise progressions to challenge all levels. It is a fusion-style of group exercise that features movements inspired by, but not limited to, various styles of Pilates and yoga.

It is NOT Pilates and is NOT Yoga, but draws inspiration from both.

It is for anybody who needs more flexibility, strength, and mobility, but not comfortable in a yoga class.


It is LOW impact, but HIGH intensity.

Each PiYo class incorporates the following styles of movement:

• Focus–Poses are held for several breaths to focus on increasing strength. • Flow–Rhythmic, flowing style that generates heat in the body and produces a sweat.

• Fusion–A blend of focus and flow, these movements incorporate dynamic balance and functional training that challenge strength and balance, and emphasize the athleticism of Pilates and yoga.

PiYo LIVE workouts follow a structure that creates a safe, effective, and consistent group exercise class. Exercises are selected and balanced through strategic variations (pose angles and application of force) with each movement.

Each PiYo class provides a well-rounded workout addressing these five components of physical fitness:

1. Cardiovascular Fitness (also known as cardiorespiratory fitness)—the ability of the heart, lungs, and vascular system to deliver oxygen-rich blood to working muscles during sustained physical activity.

2. Muscular Strength—the amount of force a muscle or muscle group can exert against a heavy resistance.

3. Muscular Endurance—the ability of a muscle or muscle group to repeat a movement many times or to hold a particular position for an extended period of time.

4. Flexibility—the degree to which a muscle will lengthen to create range of motion in a joint. 5. Body Composition—the amount of fat in the body compared to the amount of lean mass (muscle, bones, etc.)

Turbo Kick LIVE is the ultimate cardio-kickboxing party. With boxing, kickboxing, and martial arts movements choreographed to the hottest music mixes, participants get lean and toned—and have a blast doing it! It’s high intensity, fast-paced, and totally addicting! Turbo Kick LIVE is not just a fitness class—it’s a total experience that combines a high-energy workout with a party feel. It was developed to provide a safe, effective, and fun cardiovascular workout that utilizes kickboxing, boxing, and martial arts style moves and combines them with continuous aerobic movement and anaerobic intervals.

It is NOT martial arts, but draws inspiration from boxing, kickboxing, and martial arts.

It IS a high impact, high energy class.

It’s the ultimate cardiovascular challenge complete with

bouts of intensity, active recovery, and specially designed

strength sections. It was created through the cumulative

efforts of group exercise experts, nationally ranked kickboxers,

third-degree black belts, and Olympic-trained fighters. The

varied backgrounds of the athletes who helped shape this

program are what make this training so effective and rich in

movement expression.


The movements are safe and accessible for everyone, with modification options to limit or eliminate high impact and high kicks. While Turbo Kick LIVE was created with influence from the fields of competitive fighting and self-defense, it was not designed to teach people how to fight, defend themselves, or even as a form of martial art. Martial artists, professional fighters, trained boxers, and kickboxers spend years perfecting their craft. It takes years of dedication, training, and determination to master the skills of the ancient arts and contact-based sports.
