Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry were the highest level of Math completed in High School.
I struggled through each one and rejoiced when passed with a C or D.
I sought out tutoring and teacher support but still struggled. Reflecting back, what additional resources would have benefited me?
Successfully completed High School feeling confident but still knew that Math was going to challenge me in college. I especially know that the SAT and ACT were going to challenge me on my math placement.
Freshman year of college, failed remedial College Algebra twice, finally completed it my third time with a C. I moved onto Statistics and after one repeat, completed it with a B and was finished with Math for the rest of college.
During my freshman year, connected with the faculty, received one on one tutoring and peer tutoring, utilized Tutoring Center and helped change the mindset.
