"Where Have You Been?" Open Edition Linoprint

There is a look cats give their owners every time they return home and it seems to ask, "Where have you been?"

This open edition linoprint captures that particular look on my cat's face, but I'm sure any human owned by a cat will recognize it.

Because this is an open edition (as opposed to a limited edition of a certain number of copies), it is reasonably priced at $30. Like limited edition prints, the art is my own design and the prints are hand-pressed from linoleum I carve.

This is NOT AI or digitally generated art! The entire process is human-made by me in my small art studio.

Artwork is packaged in a plastic sleeve with cardboard backer (no mat or frame.)

The art itself is roughly 7" x 7". It is hand-printed on card stock (and shipped) on demand as orders arrive.

Monoprint: The First Snowfall

Based on my own photograph (taken in my back yard), this piece shows a brave Japanese maple still clinging to a few ruby red leaves, even after the first snowfall.

It was a particular challenge to create. Suggesting white snow on the branches while keeping the tree distinct from the white blanket of snow on the ground was a little tricky. But I believe the hand-painted accents succeed in capturing the stunning scene. (You can see the carving, printing and painting process in the accompanying YouTube video.)

This is a monoprint, meaning there are no other copies available. Also, please note that this is not digital art, nor is it AI. It is a hand-printed and hand-painted linocut print made by me in my studio.

Artwork is 7.25" x 10" without signature.

I call this limited edition print "Find Your Light" because, in a time when so many things feel dark, it's important to search for the people, places and experiences that celebrate goodness and peace.

Artwork is approximately 4 1/2" wide and 12" tall (plus paper margins.)
