Be well, be happy and be kind (especially to yourself.)
Never deprive someone of hope - it may be all they have.
I'm also a member of the Authors Guild (inducted 2012.)
In addition to private commissions and sales, my work has been exhibited at galleries across the country including California, Illinois, Missouri and Pennsylvania.
In my previous career, I worked as an author, researcher and television consultant who specialized in historical true crime and the 19th century Spiritualism movement. My television work includes an appearance on Travel Channel's Dead Files, consulting for the Jason Sudeikis episode of Who Do You Think You Are?, and research for a SyFy Channel special on the Kecksburg, Pennsylvania UFO incident. I'm a public speaker and have made guest appearances on several well-known podcasts including Most Notorious! and Coal Region Campfire.

I want the subject of my art to immediately seize the viewer's attention. I prefer close-up views and scenes that limit themselves to intimate and critical components. If the story I'm hoping to convey doesn't exist in real life I invent it - however, the emotions and reactions I hope to invoke are fully genuine. I'm primarily a linocut printmaker and oil pastel artist, but I allow my subject matter to tell me if it needs a splash of watercolor, a streak of gouache or the fine lines of color pencil. My ultimate goal is to make the viewer see - or question - the story being told in my art.
