Our English Program is taught by experienced Teachers and Pre-service Teachers currently working within the Australian school system. Through explicit instruction and individualised 1:1 lessons, we help students strengthen reading, writing, and language skills in a calm, supportive environment.

Sessions are available in the comfort of your home or online, with flexible durations of 60, 75, or 90 minutes, depending on your child’s needs.

Program Overview

Our English Program follows the Australian Curriculum: English, supporting students from primary through to high school. Lessons are carefully sequenced to build core literacy skills, deepen comprehension, and develop sophisticated written and spoken expression.

Reading

• Phonics and phonological awareness – Recognising, blending, and segmenting sounds to build decoding fluency.

• Fluency – Developing reading accuracy, pace, and expression.

• Comprehension – Building literal, inferential, and evaluative understanding across a range of text types.

• Grammar – Mastering sentence structure, parts of speech, and verb tenses.

• Punctuation – Using punctuation accurately and purposefully.

• Spelling – Building automaticity through structured practice and strategy.

For secondary students, our 1:1 sessions focus on:
