Lake Victoria Basin Commission.
The Lake Victoria Basin Commission (LVBC) is the intergovernmental body coordinating sustainable development for one of the world’s most strategic basins. Serving over 45 million people, it drives integration between Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.
My strategic re-branding addresses the invisibility gap, transforming complex technical governance into a powerful Narrative Authority that effectively connects institutions, donors, and local communities.
The new logotype moves beyond bureaucratic seals. At its core, the location of Lake Victoria serves as the pulse of the continent. Five converging lines represent the strategic vectors of the member states, uniting at the basin’s center.
The palette, Deep Teal for governance, Gold for biodiversity, and Earth Brown for resilience, is rendered in the Mulish font system, ensuring ultra-professional readability across all institutional touchpoints.
We have transitioned institutional communication into Impact Entertainment.
The video opens with the majesty of the Big Five, iconic symbols representing the five member states. The choice of a rhythmic rap beat is a strategic disruption: we are speaking to a dynamic, young generation that rejects dusty technical reports. The four core values.
Love, Value, Big, Conservation, form the LVBC acronym, turning our mission into a compelling, unignorable narrative.
The launch is not a conference; it is a transmedia bridge.
We utilize a dual-track activation format: an international gala for global stakeholders connected in real-time to field-based events within local communities.
This breaks the distance between donors and beneficiaries, shifting the focus from technical documentation to live, shared impact. Transparency is no longer a report; it is an experience.
This project is more than a case study, It began as a simple reaction to raw technical data, a spark that lingered, evolved, and matured until it demanded to be realized. For me, this is the true essence of communication: the ability to transform an abstract intuition into a tangible, strategic reality.
I believe that creativity is not just an aesthetic choice; it is technical mastery applied to human connection.
By weaving together design, narrative governance, and transmedia strategy, we turn invisibility into authority.
This project was a journey of coherence, designed to prove that when vision meets methodology, even the most complex institutional mission can become impossible to ignore.
In the current era, institutions govern infrastructure and operations on a scale that rivals sovereign nations, yet their institutional voice often fails to project beyond the echo chamber of a local community.
My methodology empowers organizations to bridge this gap, replacing fragmented updates with a unified strategic ecosystem that finally resolves the systemic paradox of invisible impact.
