Introduction to Programming in Python 

Students will learn about data types, variables, typecasting/type-conversion, arithmetic and logical operators, loops, input, functions, and string methods.

There will be small projects throughout the 8-class course in which students will be able to apply these skills. 

At the end of the course, students will create a tic-tac-toe application in which they will need to apply all of the above topics.
