Competitive Geometry

Introduction to Competitive Geometry for Middle School Math Competitions 

Syllabus: In this course, we will take a deep dive into the Geometry skills required to succeed in Middle School Math competitions like MATHCOUNTS and AMC 8. 

In this class, we will cover following topics in Geometry

Geometry Basics, Circles, Pythagorean Theorem, Area, Three Dimensional Geometry, Similarity. 

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of Pre-Algebra.

Grade Level: 5th to 8th grade

Class Days: Saturdays 11/11/2023 - 01/27/2024

Class Times: 9:00 am PST.

Duration: 60 minutes

No of Sessions: 10 

Homework: There will be homework after each class, and Students should plan to spend about 1 hours/week.
