Mathcount and AMC 8 Training Classes
MathCounts is a middle school mathematics competition that progresses through four levels of contests progressing from School level to National levels. It provides engaging math programs to middle school students to build confidence and improve attitudes towards math and problem-solving. This class mainly works on the school and regional level of MathCounts problems.
The AMC 8 is a middle school multiple-choice Math contest. This contest is held in February every year and is for students in grades 8 and below. The AMC 8 is the middle school precursor to the Mathematical Association of America’s exam series that leads to the International Mathematical Olympiad.
Prerequisites: Middle school students with a strong understanding of prealgebra, and who love to work on challenging problems.
Cost: Free
