STEMPath 2022
In 2021 I was thrilled to hear that I had been accepted into the 2022 Mindspark Learning STEMPath 2022 cohort. You can read about the program here, but in short STEMPath is an innovative approach to upskilling teachers to have the experience and knowledge to teach computer science courses in today's schools. The program consists of 3 classes about information science, equity centered design, and career literacy, followed by an externship with a professional company, and then another 9 credit hours of work specifically focused on computer science concepts and cybersecurity.
This website will document my journey through the course along with reflections, resources, and reactions to the content learned.
