Our Mission

The purpose of the IGBO Community is to promote, maintain and share the Igbo heritage, teachings and culture through events and activities celebrated with the parish community. Entertainment typically includes performances of ceremonial rites by the Igwe (King), cultural dances by Igbo men, women and their children as well as a display of Igbo cultural activities in the form of contemporary shows, fashion parades, and feasting on the traditional food of the Igbo people.
