The STEAM in Nature project brings together passionate educators from four countries who believe that the best way to learn is through hands-on experiences in nature. Together, we develop and share innovative practices in early childhood education, combining science, creativity, and environmental awareness.
Czech Republic – Lesní mateřská škola Jelínek
The Czech team leads the project as coordinator and shares their rich experience in forest education. They focus on soil pollution, offering workshops on composting, natural fertilizers, and sustainable land use. Their long-standing nature-based approach supports children’s independence, creativity, and respect for the environment.
Turkey – Toki Şehit Hakan Can Anaokulu
With a background in Eco-Schools and forest education, the Turkish team leads creative and science-based work on soil pollution. They develop activities combining recycling, environmental responsibility, and STEAM skills. They are also responsible for the project’s social media presence and visual documentation.
As a forest school promoting holistic, nature-based learning, the Polish team focuses on water pollution. They host workshops on clean water, water-saving methods, and outdoor science activities. This is their first Erasmus+ experience, and they contribute through their inclusive, child-led educational model.
This partner brings strong expertise in the STEAM approach and environmental education. Their focus is on air pollution, designing activities around clean energy, carbon footprint awareness, and responsible consumption. The Macedonian team also coordinates the project website and provides educational plans for partners.
