STEAM IN NATURE is an international educational project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. It brings together the worlds of early childhood education, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), and outdoor learning — all through the lens of sustainability and climate awareness.
The project responds to growing challenges such as children's disconnection from nature, decreased creativity, and limited problem-solving skills. Through hands-on activities in natural environments, we aim to foster critical thinking, ecological responsibility, and joy in learning.
Our main focus areas include:
Air and water pollution
Soil degradation
Noise and light pollution
Climate education and environmental awareness
By engaging children, teachers, and families in meaningful outdoor STEAM experiences, we support healthy development and contribute to the goals of the European Green Deal.
Integrate science and nature: We show how abstract scientific concepts connect with everyday life and the natural environment.
Develop STEAM skills: Through hands-on activities, children learn to observe, experiment, and solve problems.
Support communication: The project promotes language development in both native and foreign languages through collaborative activities.
Build environmental awareness: We teach respect for the environment and how to take care of our planet from an early age.
