Barr Seagull 2006

The next addition to the fleet was the 50 ft long Barr Seagull. Constructed in 2005 at A.L. Gordon Engineering’s yard in Bankside at Falkirk. She entered service at the beginning of season 2006. The £85,000 custom-built craft accommodates 12 passengers, including 6 wheelchairs, and was paid for by the Barr Charitable Trust. She was fitted out by Binnie Marine Services of Lochlands Industrial Estate in Larbert and joined the Seagull Trust’s other boats cruising the Union and Forth & Clyde canals.
