Child Nutrition Department

Beginning Nov 9th Meals will be offered via curbside at each elementary campus from 10 a.m. to

1 p.m.

1. From which campus can we pick up the curbside meals? (10 a.m.-1 p.m. daily)

The meals can be picked up the following campuses Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

  • Los Fresnos Elementary

  • Lopez-Riggins Elementary

  • Dora Romero Elementary

  • Villarreal Elementary

  • Laureles Elementary

  • Olmito Elementary

  • Palmer-Laakso Elementary

  • Las Yescas Elementary

  • Rancho Verde Elementary


2. Times of distribution

Meals will be distributed via curbside pick-up between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.


3. How often will meals be given out?

Meals will be distributed during school days Monday through Friday.


4. How many meals will be given?

Three meals – breakfast and lunch and dinner –will be distributed each day.


5. Who is able to receive a meal?

All students currently enrolled in Los Fresnos CISD are eligible to receive meals (18 years or younger)


6. If I have a child in Elementary, Middle School or High School will I have to pick up meals at each campus?

No, all meals can be picked up at any one of the Curbside locations listed that’s more convenient for you.


7. If my child/ren has/have a special diet or needs lactose-free milk, will they still be able to receive a meal?

Yes, you would need to contact the campus nurse to provide the needed information


8. What documents do I need to provide?

  • Student's identification number

  • Student's full name (first name, last name, middle initial)

  • Campus and grade


9. Can a relative or friend pick up my child’s meal if I am not able to?In order to pick up a meal, the driver will need the following information:

  • Student's identification number

  • Student's full name (first name, last name, middle initial)

  • Campus and grade
