Harry Berkowitz was the owner of the Capt. Jack Fleet and I vaguely remember him as I was a young kid when he passed in 1967. Surely I remember his wife Dottie (Dorothy) when she took over the fleet from 1967 to 1979. She was a hoot. She had several large German shepherds and when you rang the bell at her side door they would go "be-ser-kowitz" and she'd yell at them to shut-up and hold 'em back from mauling you. Here are some artifacts that I found Goggling the Interweb.

Dottie Berkowitz christening the Startstream II (1974). It took her a couple of whacks to smash the bottle of champagne. It was a very proud moment. Those were her exact words!
